Whichever way you choose to give and support Holywood Steiner School, your generosity is appreciated. 

We will aim to steward your generosity towards the area you specify, or alternatively, where it is needed most and will always do what we can to ensure that any wishes expressed by you are respected.

Did you know that giving makes you feel good?*

When you give to Holywood Steiner School, you'll receive our supporters newsletter detailing how donations have been put to good use improving the educational experience of our young people.

Your generosity will be acknowledged on a dedicated page of our website and you will be invited to our annual thank-you event held on the school campus. This will allow you to see for yourself the positive impact your generosity has had on our young people.

If there is a specfic project or need you are interested in, we are happy to meet to discuss how best to tailor your support.

One-off or Regular Giving

There are several ways in which you can make a gift to the school.  

The Donate button at the top of the page is linked to Paypal, enabling you to make a donation in a matter of minutes.

If you would rather set up a one-off or regular Standing Order to the school, please complete a Standing Order form available from the school office or to download here.

If circumstances change and you want to increase or cancel your donation, you can do so by dropping us an email and contacting your bank.  Your donation will help to enrich the lives of all pupils.

We can also accept cheques made payable to Holywood Steiner School.

This means if you complete a Gift Aid Declaration form (which you can download here) for every £1 you donate, we claim an additional 25p from HMRC, at no extra cost to you.

Has your company ever thought about sponsoring the future?

With the commitment of your company, you can significantly improve the educational experience of children and contribute to preparing our leaders of tomorrow.

By becoming a sponsor for a subject, a class or a school you also enter into a relationship which spans the globe. Originating in Germany, there are now over 1000 schools and early years settings in 90+ countries including the USA, India, the Middle East and most European countries.

We will work with you to ensure our relationship generates more than just the feel-good factor, a logo on a website and a thank you in the annual report. Why not use our expertise in gardening and Forest School for a bit of corporate team building, host a business social on our beautiful campus or join in one of our wonderful annual festival celebrations? We are interested in learning from you and in helping you meet your own CSR ambitions.

If you are in a position of influence within a corporation, charitable trust, foundation or grant making body and would like to consider building a relationship with the school, please contact us to discuss how we can work together to create a mutually beneficial partnership.

What will your legacy be?

As the saying goes, for many, school days are the best of our lives. By gifting assets to our school you will be contributing to the educational experience of young people for years to come.

To support you on this journey, the school suggests discussing your unique set of circumstances with a solicitor who can guide you through the process of writing a will.

Holywood Steiner School is a registered charity (number 103712) and accordingly, all legacies made to the school are exempt from UK Inheritance and Capitol Gains Taxes.

Your bequest intentions are a personal matter, which you may wish to keep confidential and this will be respected.

Festivals and other fundraising events

Steiner Waldorf schools are renowned for their busy calendar of festivals and events often led by our Parents and Friends Association.  They offer the opportunity for the school community to work together to create a magical event for the student body and the local community.

The Advent Fair draws people from far and wide and showcases the best we can offer in terms of craft, food and well-being.  It is also the principal fundraising event of the year.
