St. Nicholas visits our school

Today we took a walk in the woods and look who we spied in his striking red cloak! There was much excitement amongst the kindergarten and younger pupils in welcoming St.Nicholas to the school. The children have been learning and singing all about St Nicholas in preparation for today.

By the end of the day, we were still trying to figure out how he managed to leave us oranges and chocolate coins in our classrooms. No one could solve the mystery. We also lit our second light of Advent, the light of plants, and expressed our thanks for what they provide for us.
